Product information
Anagallis tenella, commonly known as bog pimpernel, is a delicate, low-growing perennial with slender, trailing stems and small, bright green leaves. From late spring through summer, it produces tiny, star-shaped flowers in soft shades of pink to lilac, creating a subtle carpet of colour over damp soils and shallow water margins. The flowers provide nectar for small insects, supporting wetland biodiversity. Its creeping habit and preference for wet conditions make it particularly suitable for bog gardens, pond edges, and damp borders, where it can form naturalistic, low-maintenance ground cover.
