Courgette ‘Griller Mix’ is an attractive three‑colour blend of short, blocky fruits ideal for slicing into steaks and grilling on the barbecue. Plants have an open habit for easy harvesting, produce a high yield and are a good source of vitamin C and antioxidants. Sow indoors 2cm deep in moist seed compost at 15–18°C (60–65°F) or sow outdoors two to three seeds 2cm deep in groups 90cm apart, then thin to the strongest seedling. Keep well watered, feed regularly and harvest from June to October; regular picking encourages more fruit. Extremely rarely fruits may be bitter — test a small piece of the cut surface and discard any bitter fruit.
