6mm Galvanised Steel Grip Clamps – For Wire Rope Termination

Overview – When a wire rope is terminated with a loop, there is a risk that it will be bent too tightly. A thimble is usually installed to preserve the natural shape of the loop but this needs to be securely terminated as a thimble as no means of holding the wire rope in place. We now stock a range of clips/clamp grips which are perfect for this role.
How to install – Installation is very easy, simply thread a length of wire rope around the thimble and use the wire rope grips to securely hold the wire in place (as shown in the above picture). You must ensure that the grips are installed the correct way up as attaching them to a wire incorrectly will dramatically weaken their grip.
