The charming starry, white-centred blue flowers provide an early spring display. This is a perfect bulb for planting in drifts and naturalising under large shrubs and trees, over time producing a carpet of blue in spring. Requires little attention once established and will reward with beautiful spring colour year after year.

- Hardiness: H4 – Hardy through most of the UK (-10 to -5°C)
- Plant in a sunny or lightly shaded spot. Dig compost and bonemeal into the planting hole before planting. In heavy clay soils add horticultural grit to the bottom of the planting hole. In the growing season, water plants in containers during dry spells. Established plants need little attention. Allow plants to die back naturally to encourage self-seeding.
