Used for – When crimping an RJ45 connector onto a CAT5e/CAT6 cable, our RJ45 strainrelief boots are used not only to prevent release tabs from being snagged orsnapped off your RJ45 connectors, but they also provide strain relief for yourfreshly crimped cables (allowing them to be bent in a multitude of directionswithout causing damage).
Our cable boots canalso be used to colour code cables, perfect for multiple cable installs whenidentifying individual cables can be difficult. Available in the followingcolours, please search our shop:

Installation – Beforecrimping an RJ45 connector onto the end of your chosen cable, simply slide acable strain relief boot over down the cable. This can then be pushed back upto RJ45 connector after the connector has been crimped onto the cable.
