C24 grade timber is a premium structural timber that can handle higher loads and wider spans than C16 grade timber. C24 grade can only be achieved by importing timber from areas where the climate forces a slower growth rate and hence a tighter grain.

Standards & Certifications:
- Strength graded to C24 in accordance with BS EN14081 and BS EN385.
- High pressure preservative treated to BS 8417 (UC2) which carries a 60 year service life against insect attack and wood rotting fungi.
Please Note:
- Timber sizes are nominal and have smaller finished sizes, generally between 2-5mm.
- Timber size will also vary with moisture content – Wood naturally expands and contracts with moisture content so some changes in size should be expected.
