Bostik SBR is a specially modified Styrene Butadiene Co-polymer Latex designed for use with cement and mortar mixes. This high-performance liquid improves the strength, waterproofing, and abrasion resistance of renders, screeds, and mortar. Ideal for both interior and exterior applications, Bostik SBR serves as a powerful bonding agent and primer, particularly effective in demanding external environments.

Preparation:

1. Shake well before use.
2. Do not overmix or over-trowel mixes modified with Bostik SBR.

Application:

1. Bonding slurry: For screeds, toppings, renders, and coatings.
2. Mix 2 parts cement to 1 part Bostik SBR by volume to achieve a stiff, brushable consistency. Do not add water.
3. Apply evenly to a dampened surface, ensuring a thickness of between 1mm and 2mm.
4. Apply screed, topping, render, or coating while the slurry is tacky (this usually takes 20 to 40 minutes).

Cleaning:

• Clean tools and equipment immediately after use with water.
