FAQs
What is Shiplap Cladding?
A traditional timber profile with overlapping edges that create a smooth, watertight surface. The distinctive “scoop” edge gives it a refined finish while providing added protection against rain.
Do I need to treat Cedar Cladding?
Cedar can be left untreated to weather naturally, but for maximum longevity and colour retention we recommend applying UV-protection oil (e.g. Osmo Oil) once or twice a year.
Can it be used internally and externally?
While primarily designed for exterior use, it can also add a natural touch to interior feature walls if desired.
