Used For – There are two main industry standards for the screw threads on the top of microphone stands, 3 or 5 eighths of an inch. If your microphone came with a clip, it’s almost certain that its thread will be one size or the other, likewise, your microphone stand is also likely to be either 3/8” or 5/8”.
If your stand is 3/8” and your clip is 5/8”, this adapter will allow you to use them together, filling the gap to ensure you have as snug a fit as possible, helping to deaden any unwanted vibrations.
Construction – Manufactured from high quality alloy to prevent any deformation of the thread which could cause it to jam, the adapter also features a knurled skirt at the base to aid grip when attaching and removing it.
