Description

The Millboard® Envello Aluminium Horizontal Starter Trim (2.5m) is designed to create a clean, accurate base when installing Millboard® cladding horizontally. Fitted at the bottom of the cladding area, this trim provides a strong, level starting point that helps keep every board aligned for a professional, long-lasting finish.

This is a genuine Millboard® accessory that we supply to give you the correct foundation for both Shadow Line+ and Board & Batten+ cladding systems.

What Is It Used For?

This horizontal starter trim is used to:

• Establish a straight, level starting line for horizontal installations

• Improve alignment and visual consistency across the wall

• Add structure and stability at the base of the cladding

• Support a cleaner, more accurate installation process

• Millboard® Envello Shadow Line+ cladding

• Millboard® Envello Board & Batten+ cladding

Installation Guidance

Horizontal starter trims should be:

• Installed at the bottom of the battens

• Fixed using aluminium perforated closures

• Secured with 20mm stainless steel screws

It’s important the trim is installed perfectly level, as it sets the line for the rest of the cladding boards.

Please note: The bottom edge of the cladding boards will sit slightly lower than the starter trim – this should be factored in when setting the trim height.
