Description
Novia Ultraviolet Lap Tape (UVLT) is a sealing and bonding tape which has a high strength acrylic dispersion adhesive, has an elastic LDPE-film carrier and is reinforced with scrim. Novia® UVLT is particularly suited for use in open facade UV breather membrane applications in walls as it has a high UV resistance. Novia UVLT has 24 months UV stability in open rainscreen applications with maximum joint widths up to 30mm, where ≤40% of the total area of the membrane is exposed.
However, it is also suitable for overlaps and joints, on breather membranes within standard roof applications, where additional protective UV resistance is desired. Novia® UVLT is used to seal membrane overlaps which will protect against external environmental conditions and improve airtightness.
