Anemone de caen produces beautiful saucer-shaped flowers that create a dazzling summer display. Ideal as a cut flower, in patio pots and great for planting en masse in borders or incorporated into a rockery
- Planting location: Suitable for beds, borders or containers
- Soil moisture: Moist & well drained
- Flowering period: March-April, Planting period: Aug-Dec
- Hardiness: H4 – Hardy through most of the UK (-10 to -5°C)
- Best planted in a sunny spot. For best results, soak bulbs in water for min. 4 hours before planting. Dig some compost into the planting hole before planting. In heavy clay soils add horticultural grit to the bottom of the planting hole. In the growing season, water plants in containers during dry spells. Top dress with a general purpose plant food as the last flowers fade. Allow foliage to die down naturally. Flowering results improve each year
