ClassicBond EPDM Primer

Description

EPDM Bonding Primer Purpose: This specialized rubber primer is formulated for securely attaching various tapes and accessories to EPDM Rubber membranes. It’s particularly effective for bonding EPDM Rubber membrane to:

• 9″ Elastoform Tape
• 6″ Cover Tape
• 3″ Splice Tape
• Pipe Boots
• Internal Drains with 9″ Elastoform, and more.

Coverage Estimates for a 0.25 Liter Tin:

• Up to 6.5 meters for both sides of 3″ Splice Tape, or
• Up to 6.5 meters for 6″ Cover Tape, or
• Up to 4.5 meters for 9″ Elasoform Tape.

Important Usage Note: This primer should not be used for directly adhering membrane to membrane without incorporating splice tape.

Application Method: This primer should be applied solely to the EPDM rubber membrane, not directly onto tapes. Use a paintbrush or a scrubbing pad for application, ensuring an even, non-pooled layer. Before proceeding with the installation of tapes or accessories, make sure the primer has reached a touch-dry state for optimal adhesion.
